Short Biography
- Jane Aguirre leads the Membership and Alliances Division, which includes the Academy’s international initiatives to advance ophthalmic education worldwide, the membership and customer service functions, administration of the Code of Ethics and its related educational programs, the EyeCare America program and the Museum of Vision. She has held a variety of positions within the Academy since 1981 and seen tremendous growth in the scope and depth of Academy offerings to its members, to patients and to the public.
